The journey of my Hospitality management was begun with the Diploma in Hotel Management earned from Swiss Lanka Hotel School and the experience obtained from The Beach Hotel, Negambo, Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, I was able to complete the Advanced Diploma in Food & Beverages, conducted by City & Guilds Institute in the United Kingdom. All these were well armed with the experience gathered by working for the hotel and restaurant industry at Sentosa Island in Singapore while I was studying for the Advanced Diploma in Hotel management at Bristol Business School. I truly believe that it made me so confident to touch any area in food and beverages as well as hotel management without any fear.
I was really fortunate to come to the United States for my higher education and there I successfully completed my Degree in Food and Restaurant Management. Also I was privileged to work for Hilton and Marriot corporations, the world giants in Hotel and Restaurant Industry.
Having all those on my hands, my ultimate goal is to blend together all my culinary skills and professional experiences, in my entire hospitality industry, to give you a different flavor to the authentic Sri Lankan food which I called “Sri lankan Fusion Food”.
