“Really good Sri Lankan food at very good prices ($20/25 for buffet). Tons of options (more than 25+ items for the buffet) and great flavor and a really good ambience with their incredible exhibits. Also the buffet included with a hot Sri Lankan style egg hopper on your request and a margarita. Definitely recommend!”

“We were on a road trip from Canada to Texas when we came across Spicy Zest, and wow—what an incredible find! The food was absolutely amazing. The Lamprais was the perfect portion and packed with flavour, and the egg rotti was so good we couldn’t stop talking about it. Honestly, I could go on and on about how delicious everything was. We came to Texas excited for some classic Texas BBQ, but Spicy Zest impressed us so much that we ended up visiting twice during our short stay. That says it all!”

The lamprais is amazing and they have options for everyone. Whether you’re keto, vegan, pescatarian, they will have something delicious for you. “THE place for Sri Lankan cusine! Wholesome home made Sri Lankan food at an affordable price. They have a buffet for dinner on Friday where you can try an array of yummy Sri Lankan food, including hoppers,string hoppers, kottu all made fresh at the restaurant. They also offer buffet on Saturdays for lunch. Lovely staff and owners who really put their heart into the food they make. Highly recommend this place if you are adventurous and looking for something new!”

“Was craving some authentic Lankan food and my mind was blown! I had the crab curry, which was excellent! Finally also a place that serves egg hoppers and all the other good Lankan food items. They also have a little grocery store in the back with spices and other things, such as Siddhaleppa. I still have to try their brunch buffet on the weekend, but Im sure it's going to be amazing (I mean, it's literally like at a 4+ star hotel in Sri Lanka, because they prepare the hoppers and eggs fresh in front of your eyes!!!).”

“I love Indian Food, and this was even better. The dahl is a must. The biryani had a great taste, and the fried chicken with it was the best I ever had. We went here Sunday, January 11, at 12:30 p.m., and ordered a la carte instead of the buffet. The server was super friendly. You will love this place.”

I had fresh juice, fish cutlet in appetizer and lumprais as main course. I love spices so requested them get the additional spice on the side. Food was very tasty and our server was very nice. From that day, I always go their time to time to enjoy their delicacies. It is highly recommended.”

After eating here, I can only say that this restaurant is sublime in not only food taste but also service. I will not only drive another 3 hours to come back, but will also encourage others to do as well! Their Lamb Kottu was to die for!
